  • Prior gangrene and 2nd toe amputation
  • 8-week-old dehiscence wound from the amputation surgery

Week 0

  • Wound size: 17 x 4.5 cm
  • Endoform hydrated with saline and wound exudate, and applied to wound bed
  • Endoform covered with non-adherent contact layer, absorbent foam dressing, and secured with a gauze wrap
  • Patient instructed to change foam dressing every three days

Week 2

  • Endoform applied weekly at each clinic visit
  • Wound size: 16.5 x 3.5 cm

Week 8

  • Endoform applied weekly at each clinic visit
  • Wound size: 0.1 x 0.1 cm

Week 10 - Closed

  • 100% re-epithelialised
